A two day workshop on Interdisciplinary studies and eclectic approaches

Alchemy and Transformation

Gestalt approach, Archetypal Framework and Therapeutic Change Work

DALL·E 2025-03-10 17.20.41 - An abstract

26th & 27th April, 2025

9:30am to 6:30pm

India International Center, New Delhi

In this immersive two-day workshop, we delve into the intricate ways in which humans absorb, process, and store information (both wanted and unwanted) through our senses: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory, and gustatory (VAKOG). These sensory inputs form the foundation of our Language, Soma, Internal Representations, and Psychogeography (LSIP), shaping how we perceive and interact with reality. Over time, they create internal rules, permissions, disciplines, and behavioral patterns that guide our decisions. While these structures help us navigate life, they can also create character impedances: deep-seated blocks that restrict personal growth, healing, and transformation.

This workshop is thus centered on one key question: How do we access and work with these impedances? We explore the process of elicitation, uncovering hidden narratives, patterns, and unresolved experiences that influence our emotions and behaviors. We also examine kinaesthetic dissociation, a crucial tool that allows individuals to engage with the information of events without being overwhelmed by emotions. This creates space for the client to observe, process, and integrate their experiences with greater clarity and agency.

However, the work of transformation is not just about techniques, it’s about presence. As facilitators, therapists, and interventionists, we must learn how to hold space, both for our clients and for ourselves. Trauma work may bring up our own triggers, biases, and emotional responses. How do we remain centered when difficult material surfaces? How do we ensure we are not unconsciously projecting our own experiences onto the client? This workshop provides practical tools for maintaining emotional steadiness, ensuring that we serve as a safe and attuned container for healing.

While many therapeutic techniques can be taught, what is often missing is the art of dialogue and elicitation, the nuanced ability to invite deep exploration in a way that fosters genuine transformation. Through silence, empathy, microskills, and Gestalt-based approaches, we will cultivate the ability to guide clients toward self-awareness and volition, their own willingness to engage with their healing journey.

By the end of this workshop, participants will leave with not just techniques, but a profound understanding of self and others, unlocking new pathways for growth, resilience, and renewal.

Day-wise Syllabus

Day 1

  • Module 1:
How we store & recall information.
Exercise & practice on the concept of LSIP

  • Module 2:
Why & how therapy works: core structure of the human change model
    Eliciting impacts & desensitisation

Day 2

  • Module 3:
    Concept & application of sub-modalities
Sensory & emotional awareness, paradoxical nature of change

  • Module 4:
SCORE model: the technique of probing
Understanding the components of therapeutic presence, Attunement through sensory acuity , Empathy, assertiveness and setting boundaries

The workshop will explain following:

  • The impact of silence and empathy on a client’s transformation, creating a safe and attuned space for healing.

  • The nature of cultural and archetypal transferences, uncovering how deeply embedded narratives shape identity, behavior, and self-awareness.

  • The LSIP model as the foundation of human processing, examining how Language, Soma, Internal Representations, and Psychogeography shape perception and experience.

  • The SCORE model as a core framework in counseling, integrating verbal and somatic approaches to work with client concerns.

  • The elicitation of hierarchical implants, unconscious belief structures formed without awareness, using probing questions to uncover and bring them into consciousness.

  • The formation of character impedances early in life, exploring how behavioral limitations develop and how they can be transformed.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  1. Develop advanced elicitation skills to facilitate deeper client introspection, enabling the recognition of unconscious patterns and barriers to transformation.

  2. Explore the origins of impactful experiences, identify character impediments, understand how they were installed, and examine their lasting influence on behaviour.

  3. Utilize the LSIP model to analyse how clients process experiences and construct their internal reality, influenced by transferences and holographic projections.

  4. Utilize micro-skills and Gestalt-based interventions to enhance therapeutic dialogue, fostering greater client agency and self-awareness.

  5. Integrate a multidimensional approach to the work of intervention, balancing structured techniques with intuitive responsiveness to individual client needs.

These sessions will be conducted in-person in Delhi. After each topic is explained, participants will engage in practical exercises designed to reinforce key concepts and deepen their understanding. Each session will run for 90 minutes, with four sessions scheduled per day. While each session offers a unique focus, by the end of the workshop, participants will be able to put their learning together into a comprehensive and integrated framework.

This workshop is recommended for aspiring counsellors, coaches, therapists, and mental health practitioners, as well as psychology students, researchers, and individuals passionate about mental well-being. It is also highly recommended for those on a personal journey of self-discovery and transformation.
